From the Catinaccio to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo! Uphill using funiculars and ski lifts or climbing skins, downhill over untouched slopes to the next valley. The ascents in the impressive scenery of the dolomites and the off piste descents - some of them rather difficult - make this ski traverse an unforgettable experience. Your luggage will be transferred by taxi to the next stop, so that your only encumbrance will be your small daypack!

Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome

Your guide welcomes you at the hotel in Siusi at 4 pm. Transfer to the Alpe di Suisi (you'll leave your car at the hotel parking) and to the mountain inn (2145m) where we will spend the first night. The guide explains the program of the week and distributes the ski passes. Equipment check and distribution of supplementary equipment. At dinner, you'll have the chance to get to know your fellow skiers.

Day 2: Catinaccio

Climb up to the Passo Principe (2500m, 2.30h), then a long descent at the foot of the Catinaccio to Gardeccia (1920m). On piste descent to Vigo di Fassa. Transfer to the ski area Alpe di Luisa, overnight stay at a mountain inn (2050m).

Day 3: Pala Group

A chairlift ride to 2170m where we begin the climb to the Passo Mulaz (2620m, 2.30h) and, possibly, up to the Mulaz Peak (2905m). 1500vm descent to Falcade, then over prepared runs to the Passo Pellegrino, using skilifts. Overnight stay at a mountain inn (1970m).

Day 4: Monzoni – Marmolada

Ascent to the Forca Rossa (2490m, 2h), then descent on the north face to Malga Ciapéla (1450m). Onto the Marmolada (3250m) by funicular. Off piste descent to the Lago di Fedaia (2000m) and possibly down to Pian Trevisan (1700m). Short taxi transfer, then to our hotel on the Passo Sella (2150m) using ski lifts.

Day 5: Sella

Up to the Sass Pordoi (2950m) by funicular. From there, we traverse the Sella plateau and climb up to the Piz Boè (3150m, 2h). Long off piste descent to Corvara (1560m). On well prepared runs, we ski from Alta Badia to Lagazuoi (2800m), then down to the mountain inn at Passo Giau (2235m) above Cortina, where we will spend one night.

Day 6: Cortina – Misurina

Ski touring or off piste variations on the mountains surrounding Cortina. After a cappuccino break in the mundane village Cortina, a taxi transfer brings us to the hotel at lake Misurina at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, where we will spend one night.

Day 7: Tre Cime di Lavaredo – Sesto

By skidoo, we go up to the Rifugio Auronzo (2320m), from where we start the climb to the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (2420m, 2.30h). This place offers a magnificent view on the north face of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Descent through the Fiscalina valley to Sesto (1450m). Transfer to the hotel in Suisi, where we will celebrate the last evening of an unforgettable week.
