Between the Dolomites and the vineyards. Our lovely village Seis am Schlern / Siusi allo Sciliar is the staying point of this marvelous “gourmet ski safari” and it is directly connected with the world’s biggest ski area “Dolomite Superski”. After your skiing day you will have the chance to taste our well-tasting wines in one of the famous wine places around Bozen / Bolzano and the valley Eisack / Isarco where you can inhale a really southern flair. Every day you can experience new skiing areas from the Rosengarten / Catinaccio to the Marmolada and from the Sella to Cortina and at the same time you can try our lovely South Tyrolean and Italian cuisines as well as fascinating tasting wines. Casunzèi and Carne salada (Italian specialties): one of the highlights is the overnight in one of our cozy mountain inns Fucchiade on the pass of Pellegrino (2000 m above the sea level) where you even get the chance to eat fantastic Ladin food!
Day 1, Saturday: Arrival to Seis / Siusi to the hotel Florian. Welcome aperitifs as well as your ski guide await you there. Information about the week program will be provided. “Ski safari gourmet dinner”.
Day 2, Sunday: Seiser Alm / Alpe di SiusiSunny pistes and cozy mountain inns on the Seiser Alm / Alpe di Siusi. A welcome aperitif on the inn “Puflatsch”. Downhill skiing with the setting sun to the cable car. “Ski safari gourmet dinner”.
Day 3, Monday: Alta Badia – Cortina. Transfer to the valley “Gröden / Gardena”. We ski to Corvara, Alta Badia and Cortina. “Ski safari gourmet dinner”.
Day 4, Tuesday: Plose - Brixen / Bressanone. Transfer to Brixen / Bressanone. We ski on the pistes of the famous skiing area Plose with really long descents. Tasting of excellent and fine white wines at a farm house near Brixen / Bressanone. Typical white wines from the valley “Eisack / Isarco” such as Sylvaner, Kerner, Riesling. “Ski safari gourmet dinner with fish” at the hotel Florian.
Day 5, Wednesday: Langkofel / Sasso Lungo – Sella. From the Seiser Alm / Alpe di Siusi to the valley “Fassa”. Skiing areas Col Rodella, Ciampionoi, Seceda, Seiser Alm. Tasting of very fine local spirits as well as the famous home-made Balsamico vinegar in a historical old farm house. “Ski safari gourmet dinner”.
Day 6, Thursday: Marmolada – Passo S.Pellegrino - mountain inn FucchiadeOver the Sellapass / Passo Sella to Arabba on the Marmolada (3,284m) with fantastic downhill skiing. Transfer to Falcade. Along pistes to the Passo Pellegrino and to the mountain inn Fucchiade (1980m). “Ski safari gourmet dinner”.
Day 7, Friday: Col Margherita – Alpe di Lusia – Latemar. From 2,520 m we descend to Falcade – 1,250 m – on to the skiing area Alpe di Lusia – Pampeago – Latemar. Transfer (about 30 min.) through the valley Eggen / Ega to the famous wine village St. Madgalena / S. Maddalena near Bozen / Bolzano. We taste some fine autochthon sorts of wine such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Lagrein and, Vernatsch in the cellar of Chàteau Waldgries. “Ski safari gourmet dinner” with the red wines from Chateau Waldgries.
Day 8, Saturday: Departure.After the breakfast the gourmet ski safari is at its end.
