If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere to conclude the day and comfort at the same time, you'll find it here. Our small but fine mountain hotel is situated high above Cortina on 2230m in the middle of the fantastic scenery of the Dolomites. In the evening, we will enjoy Italian and Ampezzan specialties and fine local wines.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome
Your guide welcomes you at the hotel on the Passo Giau and explains the program of the week. Equipment check and distribution of supplementary equipment. At dinner, you'll have the chance to get to know your fellow skiers.
Day 2: Off piste training
Warm up and off piste skiing. Off piste training besides the Cinque Torri ski area and on the Passo Falzarego. Short climbs with skins
Day 3: Ski touring Passo Giau – Monte Pore
Easy tour from the hotel to the Monte Pore (2405m). Descent on the northern face to Buchenstein. Climbing time 2-3h.
Day 4: Off piste skiing in Cortina
Well-prepared runs and a short transfer bring us to the ski areas of Cortina. Off piste descents that are accessible by ski lift and short climbs.
Day 5: Ski touring Monte Formin
Descent to the pass road (1750m). Climb with skins to the peak of Monte Formin (2657m). Great panoramic view on the Dolomites. Descent on the northern face. Climbing time 3-4h.
Day 6: Off piste skiing Marmolada
Transfer to Malga Ciapéla (1450m), ca. 45 min. Up onto the Marmolada (3320m) by funicular. Off piste descents down the Marmolada glacier to the lake Fedaia.
Day 7: Ski touring Cristalloscharte
One of the most beautiful ski tours in the Dolomites: From the Passo Tre Croci (1880m), we climb to the Cristalloscharte (2180m). Fantastic rock scenery. 1300mv descent on the northern face. Transfer back to the Passo Giau. In the evening, we celebrate the last day of this unforgettable week.
Day 8: Departure
Our ski touring week ends after breakfast.
