Your Itinerary
Day 1: Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul and meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Leisure afternoon. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2: Old Istanbul. Full day guided sightseeing in Old Istanbul. Discovery of Sultanahmet, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 3: Guided Bosphorus Cruise with Dolmabahçe Palace. Visit to the exotic and aromatic Egyptian Spice Market, cross over to Asia to Camlica Hill for a view of Istanbul. During the cruise, view of Ottoman seaside mansions, marble palaces and small fishing villages. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 4: From Istanbul to Cappadocia. Take the morning flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia, arrival and transfer to Cappadocia. Tour to Underground city, Soganli valley, Sobessos mosaics, Keslik monastery and Mustafapasa old Greek town Overnight Hotel Cappadocia.
Day 5: Full day guided discovery of Cappadocia. Visit to Goreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar Castle, Fairy Chimneys, Avanos. Overnight Hotel Cappadocia.
Day 6: Ihlara Canyon. Walking in Ihlara Canyon, a "mirage" in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema: "Valley of the Sky" along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible. Lunch in Belisirma a local restaurant by the river. Stop by Selime, a village with cave houses at the end of the canyon and a "star wars" like landscape. Overnight Hotel Cappadocia.
Day 7: Thursday or Sunday. In the morning, transfer to airport in Kayseri and take the Sun Exprees direct flight (withouth going via Istanbul) to Izmir. Arrival at 11am and meeting at the airport in Izmir. Drive to Pamukkale, arrival and visit to Hierapolis and Pamukkale travertine castles. Overnight Pamukkale.
Day 8: Drive from Pamukkale to Ephesus, on the way, visit to Aphrodisias arrival and check in Hotel near Ephesus.
Day 9: Full day guided tour to antique city of Ephesus, Virgin Mary house, St. John Church and temple of Artemis one of the seven wonders of the antique world. Overnight Near Ephesus.
Day 10: Izmir to Istanbul. Transfer to airport in Izmir and take a flight to Istanbul.
