This trip allows you for one night at Tamarindo Beach on the Pacific Ocean plus the riding thrill of Costa Rica's lush high central mesa and the sight of two magnificent and very different active volcanoes. In the turtle season you will have opportunity to take a nocturnal excursion to view massive leatherback turtles burrowing their eggs in the sand. If a little adventure and more sun and sand are important to you, just let us know and we'll include a couple of days at the beach.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to Hotel Britannia for your first night.
Day 2: Early in the morning, pick up your bike and ride to Villas Rio Mar at Dominical Beach on the Pacific Coast.
Day 3: Stay at this beautiful area and explore the exotic south loop. Overnight at Villas Rio Mar.
Day 4: Ride via Manuel Antonio National Park to the Poas Volcano Lodge, besides the cloud forests of the active Poas Volcano.
Day 5: Ride to Arenal area and overnight at Arenal Paraiso Hotel, at the base of the world famous Arenal Volcano.
Day 6: Ride to the small surf town of Tamarindo. Overnight at Hotel Diria.
Day 7: After enjoying the beach, ride back to San Jose and overnight at Hotel Britannia.
Day 8: Transfer back to airport for flight home.
