Your Itinerary
Day 1: Early arrivals meet at 12:30pm for a bike fitting and an optional self-guided warm-up tour. Later arrivals meet us between 4:30 and 6:00pm. Then, check into your B&B. Included: (D).
Day 2: The tour today is from Calistoga to Yountville. We cycle in the Classic Napa Valley stopping at world famous wineries, like Mondavi, Sterling, and Opus One as well as many smaller off the beaten path wineries. Today's ride is approximately 27 miles of easy and flat terrain. Each day we stopped along the way to tour and taste some of the wonderful wineries nearby. Included: (B), (L).
Day 3: Today we ride from Yountville to Sonoma on a 37 mile ride with some light grades. You'll enter into the Carneros District, California's answer to Burgundy. Home to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Grapes, we cycle past intriguing wineries such as Artesa and Acacia. Included: (B), (L).
Day 4: Today is a little bit of a longer journey. We ride approximately 45 miles from Sonoma to Bodega Bay, where we are rewarded at the end with a luxurious view of the Pacific Coast. We ride up the Valley of the Moon, past Jack London's old home site and throughout the pastoral landscape of western Sonoma County. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Today's ride is mostly flat and easy terrain. We cycle about 45 miles from Bodega Bay to Healdsburg, 11 miles of which are along the wild Sonoma coast, and then follow the Russian river inland into majestic redwood forests. Back to the Wine country with a tour and taste at Korbell champagne works and eventually into Healdsburg. Included: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Our last day of cycling is about 17 miles of easy riding with mild grades through the Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. This is our favorite day of the trip since we are able to tour many picturesque wineries and vineyards that are less common to most tourists. Here we are able to show you what most people don't get to see! It's as close to Provence as we can get without leaving the country. At 2 - 3 pm we bid you farewell wish you a happy continuation of your trip! Included: (B), (L).
