Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Brooksville - Settle into the Oakland House, a classic Maine seaside resort and your home for the next 5 nights. Following introductions and a welcome cocktail, we'll take a warm-up ride to Bagaduce Falls, where you'll love the spectacular views! Our gracious host, Jim Littlefield, will later give us a historical tour of the 120 year-old Oakland House.
Day 2: Stonington - Bike across a series of land fingers linked by bridges. Lunch in Stonington, where numerous galleries line the streets. Afternoon yoga.
Day 3: Penobscot Bay - Kayak with registered Maine guides, followed by a delicious Ciclismo picnic. An optional spin and/or yoga session precedes a cooking lesson and fantastic dinner.
Day 4: Blue Hill - Cycle to the artist village of Blue Hill, with amazing views along the way. Spend some time talking to the artists while exploring the galleries and shops.
Day 5: Castine - Visit Castine, one of Maine’s most photogenic villages and enjoy a Farewell Lobsta’ Feast accompanied by local folk music.
Day 6: Goodbye! - Thanks for joining Ciclismo Classico in New England. We hope you are totally relaxed or pleasantly tired and have enjoyed your week!
