Our tour is designed to offer guests an intriguing, and relaxing, multi-active Vermont experience.
Tour Itinerary
- Day 1: East Burke - Get acquainted over cocktails and a New England-style barbecue.
- Day 2: Westmore - Cycle through sleepy villages, the cliff homes of the rare peregrine falcon, Willoughby State Forest, moose bogs and dairy farms on our round-trip to Barton. Back at the inn, perhaps you’ll indulge in yoga or massage.
- Day 3: Mount Pisgah - Hike to the summit of Mount Pisgah for a spectacular panorama. You'll pass through hardwood forest and coniferous groves.
- Day 4: Newport - We pedal to the historic Old Stonehouse Museum in Brownington, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour. Then, follow the Black River toward Newport on the Canadian border. Our final descent provides stunning views of Lake Willoughby.
Day 5: Connecticut River - Kayak on the great Connecticut River, viewing dairy farms, the White Mountains, abandoned logging cribs, towering evergreens and abundant wildlife.
Day 6: Goodbye! - Rise and shine for a covered bridge tour before an early afternoon departure.
