Visit Bormio, an enchanting Alpine village with tremendous character and style. Its most famous landmark, the Roman thermal baths, was established in the 1st century! Most of its amazing architecture was erected between the 13th and 17th centuries.
The skiing & snowboarding is tall and long, with almost 5900 ft. of vertical, and runs up to 9 miles long. This place is for traditionalists who enjoy character with their down-hill or carving experiences. There is plenty of great skiing & snowboarding for all levels. And, when you’re done on the slopes, the town and its food are second to none.
Two ski areas serve this area with the biggest area on the north face of the Cima Bianca which is mainly for intermediates but the second area on Masucco offers an equally enjoyable ride. The terrain is vast and there is always good reliable snow and some of the best spring skiing in the Alps. And as if that was not enough. On one of your days you can even enjoy Europe's most famous cross-border excursions between Cervinia and Zermatt, when you supplement your pass!
