Join our tour provider on a 3 day Wilderness Lodge based eco-tours, Highlights include sea kayaking amongst icebergs, Seeing eagles, bears, otters, sea lions, seals and often whales, hiking on recently glacier freed landscape and in old growth rain forest, bird watching, fishing, gourmet food and 2 nights at a wilderness lodge in Prince William Sound.

Your Itinerary

Day 1: We start our trip with a 25 mile scenic water-taxi ride to Heather Bay to spend the day kayaking in front of majestic Columbia Glacier, amongst towering icebergs, hiking in the nearby rain forest and on glacial moraine. Expect to see sea-otters hauled out on ice flows, seals, sea-lions, river otters, mink and frequently bears (don’t forget to bring your camera and extra film) After the days activities we return to our water-taxi and head to the lodge, about a 30-40 minute boat ride. This is the time to watch for humpback and orca whales. Includes: (L), (D).

Day 2: The next two days are spent exploring Ellamar and its surroundings. Known for her sea -otter pupping grounds, lush meadows, rugged shorelines and temperate rain forest, Ellamar is ideal for activities such as; kayaking, hiking, walking, bird watching, beach combing, tide pooling, berry picking, fishing, and for exploring historical sites left behind by early copper miners. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: On the 3rd day, after the days activities our water-taxi will pick you up for a leisurely ride back to Valdez in time for dinner, your next lodging or to catch the evening flight to Anchorage. No kayaking experience is necessary. This tour offers a flexible itinerary and is ideal for beginner paddlers, families with small kids, corporate incentives, retreats, wildlife lovers, and for all who wish to experience Prince William Sound wilderness in the comfort of the best remote lodge in Alaska.

Custom Tours. For guests who wish to have a longer stay at the lodge additional options are available to include:
- A Cessna 185 airplane for flight seeing & fishing;
- Boat and kayak tours to beautiful Landlock Bay and into the remote wilderness of Port Fidalgo.
