A flower necklace is received by the visitor upon his arrival at Easter Island, world famous for its moais, giant sculptures etched on stones. The history of this island is joined to myths and legends like the ceremonial city of Orongo and the worship center of Tangata Manu or Bird man. The visit to the Ahu Vaihu, Akahanga and Tongariki permits understand the history of these people and marvel at the world's unique moais. The Rano Raraku volcano, considered the factory of the moai, has 400 statues showing different elaboration stages.
