Tour Itinerary
Day 1, 2 (Sat): Santiago, 2 nights Santiago Hotel Ritz Carlton. BB
On arrival in Santiago you will be met at the airport and transferred to hotel.
Next day you will have a half day Santiago City Tour exploring the historical richness of the capital.
Day 3: Patagonia, 3 nights Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. FB
After breakfast, you are met and transferred to the Airport to coonect with a scheduled flight to Balmaceda, in the Patagonia region. On arrival, you will be met by your guide and taken for a 5-hour drive along the spectacular Austral Road to Puyuhuapi for further Catamaran transfer to Puyuhuapi Hot Springs and Spa.
Day 4: Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. FB
Free day to enjoy the facilities available at Lodge. The cosy bar, the restaurant with typical Chilean Gastronomy, the pool table and the video room. You will also have the chance to relax in the revitalising open air thermal baths, at sea level and surrounded by giant ferns and unspoiled vegetation.
Day 5: Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. FB
After breakfas, visit to the charming village of Puerto Puyuhuapi with its characteristic architecture. For those amongst you who would like to see more sights of this region, an additional excursion can be booked to the Queulat National Park where you can also admire the impressive “Hanging Glacier”. The afternoon is at leisure when you may hire a motor- or rowing boat, kayak, canoe, windsurf or water-skis or relax in one of the hotel’s thermal pools.
Day 6: San Rafael Lagoon - Puerto Chacabuco. FB
Early breakfast and then departure on a full day tour to the San Rafael Lagoon aboard the Patagonia Express catamaran. The Southern channels offer an incredible amount of beauty, new sights and excitement - all this in comfort and accompanied by excellent service. The route takes you along the Seno Ventisquero, Puyuhuapi, Moraleda and Costa Channels and into the Golfo Tres Cruces and the Estuario Elefantes. Early in the afternoon you finally enter San Rafael Lagoon where you will find the San Rafael glacier with its enormous mountains of 20,000 year old ice, like giant sparkling turquoise jewels. Aboard rubber boats you approach the bizarre ice sculptures, so near, that they seem to steam up from your breath. A piece of millenary ice will be brought aboard to accompany your whisky. Later you will start the journey back to Chacabuco Port, where you arrive late in the evening. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day 7: Santiago, 1 nights Santiago Hotel Ritz Carlton. BB
After breakfast, departure for Coyhaique driving along the banks of the Simpson River, through the capital of Aysén Region and after approximately 2˝ hours you will arrive to Balmaceda airport from where you will fly to Santiago. On arrival you are met and transferred to the Hotel. Overnight.
Day 8, 9, 10: Easter Island, 3 nights Casa Rapa Nui of Explora. FI
Today you are transferred to the airport to connect with a scheduled flight to Easter Island. On arrival you are transferred to Casa Rapa Nui of Explora, two small houses converted into charming family style hotels, located 200 m from each other and they have outdoor Jacuzzis and pleasant exterior surroundings.
Daily activities, with easy to difficult walks that slowly reveal the secrets and beauty of the island. The walks are combined with picnics and explora-style meals on the rocks or the shore of the sea, or in sites with a great deal of magnetism. Guests may dine in town or in Casas Rapa Nui. Daily explorations in groups of 8 people maximum, with bilingual guides and equipment.
Day 11: Santiago, 1 nights Santiago Hotel Ritz Carlton. BB
After breakfast, meet with your guide for your transfer back to Mataveri airport to connect with a scheduled flight to Santiago. Once again you are met and transferred to the Hotel. Overnight
Day 12: Departure
Transfer to the airport to meet your flight back home.
