Tour Itinerary
Day 1: You will be collected from your accommodation between 8 and 9 o'clock. It is not a long drive so we will have time to stop for a light lunch. The last 20 km is gravel road winding through many small villages. We will arrive just in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset in this bird paradise and tonight we will spend around the camp fire getting to know each other. Overnight: park camping communal ablutions/bush shower
Day 2: Your guide will wake you up early to a nice cup of coffee or tea and after that we set out and explore the park with more than 400 species of bird and huge herds of red lechwe. Depending on what we see we'll return for a brunch. In the heat of the day we can relax a little before setting off again in the afternoon for game viewing. Overnight: camping
Day 3: Overnight - Lusaka, Eureka campsite
Day 4: Today we depart for the Kafue National Park renownED for its huge abundance of wildlife. Again we will have a quick lunch on the road and then it's into the park where we will be spending the next 2 nights. Overnight: park campsite communal ablutions.
Day 5: Overnight - camping
Day 6: Today is a long but interesting drive towards Liuwa Plains National Park. we will be stopping in a few small towns where your guide needs to restock for the next 2 nights. after crossing the Zambezi river we head into the park and set up our bush camp for the next two nights. overnight: bush camping bush shower & toilet.
Day 7: Liuwa is well known for its wildlife and blue wildebeest migration (October - December), so we will have an early wake up call and explore the park. After an exciting day we can relax around the camp fire listening to the sounds of mother nature.
Day 8: Back on the road today, as we head south to Sioma falls. We will be crossing the Zambezi again and drive through the famous Barotse plains and along the river. Tonight we camp next to the river. Overnight: communal campsite & ablutions.
Day 9: A scenic drive along the Zambezi River takes us to Nina's fishing camp where we can relax on a sunset cruise or for those who like fishing go out and try to catch the famous tiger fish. Overnight: Nina's camp communal ablutions.
Day 10: Overnight - Breakfast & Lunch
