Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Pull into Ymir, a funky old mining town nestled in the Selkirk Mountains, anytime that suites ya on Friday afternoon. Meet with your fellow riders and guide for orientation and a form filling frenzy. We'll take a ride into the heritage town of Nelson for dinner and then spend the night at the historic Ymir Hotel. Saturday, June 12 After a hearty breakfast we'll head west, winding our way through southern British Columbia over the Paulson Pass and along the shore of Christina Lake. Tonight we'll hang our helmets in another one of the area's oldest hotels, The Beaverdell Hotel.

Day 2: After a leisurely Sunday breakfast, we'll head for Kelowna for a stop at the beach and then cruise up through the beautiful lake country to Vernon. After a stop at O'Keefes Ranch, we'll leave the lake behind for rolling pine country and cruise into Falkland for the night.

Day 3: This morning we'll follow the 97, a beautiful little winding two-laner into Kamloops and pay a visit to the Harley dealership. After lunch we'll make our way east along Shuswap Lake to the lovely mountain ringed town of Revelstoke for the night. Anyone who chooses can take a run up to Canyon Hot Springs for a soak.

Day 4: We'll rumble up into Glacier National Park heading for the sky at the 1380 meter mark of Roger's Pass Summit. After a photo op stop to take in the spectacular views, we'll follow the winding highway down under half a dozen avalanche sheds and into the Moberley Pub for a delicious lunch. From Moberley you'll have the option of heading straight for a soak in Radium Hot Springs or detouring through Yoho, Banff, and Kootenay National Parks. An extra 210 mind blowing kilometers leaving you very ready for a soak in the springs when you arrive.

Day 5: After breakfast, we'll visit the wood carver, an eccentric and amazing artist. Then we'll meander down to the quaint Bavarian town of Kimberley, and explore the turn of the century Fort Steele and onward to Cranbrook for the night.

Day 6: After a ride through the lush Creston Valley we'll follow the 3A, an absolutely fabulous twisty road that runs right along the east shore of the Kootenay Lake. The longest (and most beautiful) free ferry in the world will deposit us on the other side of the lake. A short jaunt north will take us to Toad Rock Motorcycle Campground where we will have live music around the campfire.

Day 7: Hot springs anyone? A dip in Ainswirth Hot Springs on the way to Kaslo, a lovely little heritage town on the shore of Kootenay Lake might be a good way to start the day. Then all the way down the lake to Nelson, a beautiful historic town situated on the shore of Kootenay Lake. When we are done exploring all that Nelson has to offer, we'll head to Ymir for our wind up party!
