The sand dunes we use are huge and allow runs of over 700ft. The concept is very similar to snowboarding and uses boards similar to snowboards but with a few modifications for riding on sand.
After a drive along the beautiful False Bay coastline we arrive at the dunes and spend the morning getting to know the basics of sandboarding. We provide a range of boards from sit down “toboggan” style to the traditional “snowboard” style and there are both gentle and steep slopes for you to try.
After a tasty lunch we hit the dunes again followed by a swim at the beautiful Palmiet Rive rock pools before we head back to Cape Town.
