Hour Adventure Tour:
If your an experienced motorcyclist, then why not grab one of our motorcycles & go cruising with your guide through the Central Oz Outback. You ride one bike & your guide rides another. During this tour we'll ride around the oldest mountain range in the world & visit the West MacDonnell Ranges. (Awesome riding!) We'll take digital photos of you while your riding (we are stunt riders you know) & after the gig we'll e-mail them to you...cool eh! "We'll cruise to Honeymoon Gap then Standley Chasm, which is known as Natures Cathedral, a steep & ancient split in the Earth’s Crust". This area is known for Black Footed Rock Wallabies, a relative of the Kangaroo".
Round the Ranges Half Day Tour:
This half-day adventure is similar to the 3 Hr Standley Chasm tour but allows us to see & do more in the Outback. On our return from the Chasm we'll explore Simpsons Gap National Park which is a great scenic ride to the main feature in the Park, Simpsons Gap. Just like Standley Chasm, this area is also well known for a Black Footed Rock Wallabies colony of about twenty or so. After the park we'll ride around the boomerang shaped North face of Mt Gillen then back to our base.
Go the 'Whole Hogg' - Day Adventure:
Our Top Shelf Motorcycling Day Adventure covers 300 Scenic K's of wicked riding in the West MacDonnell Ranges purported to be the oldest in the world. We'll visit most, if not all, of the choice destinations, along an 'up & down' Rollercoaster Road to an old Station Homestead Pub -one of our favourites!- for lunch, which is supplied. Swimming in the Gorges is great during our warmer months & will keep us cool! so if it's Hot weather (Jan. Feb. March.) it won't matter. There may also be an opportunity to take the optional Helicopter flight which we highly recommend for an excellent overview of the ancient mountain ranges. For a more relaxed pace you may want to consider the overnight 'Whole Hogg' version of this tour.
Glen Helen 'Whole Hogg' 2 Day Tour:
Why rush through something this good? With 2 Days to do this personalized adventure tour we can have more time relaxing, hiking & swimming if the weather is warm, not to mention enjoying the most Awesome part of the West MacDonnell Ranges, namely Glen Helen & Ormiston Gorge! For keep hikers the optional bush walk thru Ormiston Pound is the go, otherwise the gorge walk is what we recommend, it's up to you!
Day 1: Ride through some of the best Central Australian scenery to several exciting features including Honeymoon Gap, 8 mile lookout, Ormiston & Glen Helen Gorge.
Day 2: Swim in the local waterhole of Glen Helen Gorge & relax before riding to the colourful Ochre Pits where Aboriginals have collected yellow ochre for body painting & special ceremonies. Later we'll explore Standley Chasm, known as Natures Cathedral, where some black footed rock wallabies reside. Our final destination before reaching Alice Springs is Simpsons Gap which is located at a permanent waterhole in a beautiful National Park. This area is the primary reason why we live here & do what we do! *This tour is very popular with some people as a second Honeymoon.
Ayers Rock 3 Day Adventure Tour:
Enjoy a 1000 Kilometre cruise along the Stuart Highway to Australia's Icon. Notice the landscape change as we tour through Australia's Red Centre in style, Awesome!
Day 1: Depart for Ayers Rock stopping at various places on the way, including Mt Connor lookout. Arrive at Uluru & explore Ayers Rock by motorcycle. Return to Resort & accommodation in time to be transferred to the 'Sounds of Silence' dinner & star show in the desert under the stars. (weather permitting)
Day 2: Ride to the Cultural Centre & learn about the unique Aboriginal culture of the area. After, ride to Ayers Rock & explore by foot. Climb the rock if you wish.
Day 3: Ride back to Alice Springs & your accommodation. The ride back will take most of the day without rushing.
NB: Jan, Feb & March may be too hot for this tour.
Centralian Explorer 5 day Adventure:
Half Day: Arrive Alice Springs & be met at Airport. Transfer to Accommodation, followed by an introductory motorcycle tour of the MacDonnell Ranges.
Day 1: Depart for Ayers Rock stopping at various places on the way, including Mt Connor lookout. Arrive at Ayers Rock & explore by motorcycle. Return to resort & accommodation in time to be transferred to the 'Sounds of Silence' dinner & star show in the desert under the stars. (Weather permitting) - Return to resort.
Day 2: Ride to the Cultural Centre & learn about the unique Aboriginal culture of the area. After, ride to Ayers Rock & explore by foot. Climb the rock if you wish. Later, return to resort for the evening meal.
Day 3: Ride back to Alice Springs & your accommodation. The leisurely ride back will take most of the day.
Day 4: Ride through some of the best Central Australian scenery to exciting features in the MacDonnell Ranges such as Honeymoon Gap. From there it's off to Standley Chasm, known as Natures Cathedral where some black footed rock wallabies reside. Next is the scenic eight mile lookout for a picnic, followed by a cruise through the mountains to Glen Helen for the night. Later we'll have a BBQ dinner.
Day 5: Swim in the local waterhole of Glen Helen Gorge & relax before riding to Ormiston Gorge for a bushwalk. Later it's off to the colourful Ochre Pits where Aboriginals have collected yellow Ochre for body painting & special ceremonies. Our final destination before reaching Alice Springs is Simpsons Gap which is located at a permanent waterhole in a beautiful National Park.
NB: Jan, Feb & March may be too hot for this tour.
Alice Springs to Darwin 7 Day Tour:
This Tour to Darwin is equivalent to riding half way across the U.S.A and naturally this is one of our favourite tours! We provide the Harley-Davidson Motorcycles for a 1,500 kilometre or more Awesome Adventure over 7 days visiting so many amazing places that we cannot cover them all here. However, I have to mention that it includes a 'Classic Ride' through Litchfield National Park, which some say is better than Kakadu. The Park offers some really wicked roads to ride & beautiful waterfalls & crystal clear pools to snorkel & swim in just like the 'Garden of Eden', sound like Paradise?
Based on twin share accommodation, most food included. Only available during the 'Top End' Dry Season, April to October.
