The sad thing about this day is that you can't taste all our wines, that requires another month and a new liver. We travel by combi (for the heavy connosior) or bike (for those that can get themselves to spit out the products). Have yourself a big breakfastso you can stomach this day - it's gooood!!!
Depart from accommodation. Visit wine cellars and wine estates that produce world renown wines: Lancerac, Bergkelder, Spier etc and learn more about wine farming. We taste more wines of local farmsat the wine tasting center in town and visit a quaint little trading store called "OOM SAMIE SE WINKEL". We visit the Van Rhyn Brandy Cellar and see how brandy is made, how the coopers still make wine barrels without any machines still and then TASTE our product!
We sample some local South African dishes at the Dorpskombuis Restaurant at lunchtime - not included in price. Stellenbosch is a university town and no tour is complete without a tour through the campus. Return home (if you can) by 17H00
