Ghandruk and Ghorepani offer panoramic view of mountains within a short span of timeframe. It takes couple of days from Pokhara to reach Ghorepani and Ghandruk, which is the native homeland of world famous Gurkha Soldiers as well as known for the great views including the both famous mountains Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri as well as other prominent snow-capped peaks in the Western Development Region of Nepal. For a panoramic view of northern mountains, Punhill (3193m. which is about an hour's climb away from Ghorepani Pass above Ghorepani Village also offers best view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukchey Peak in the northwest and Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Nilgiri in the northeast. The Punhill also offers far-sighted aerial view of Kaligandaking Valley (former main trading route between Nepal and Tibet via Mustang) which is considered as world's deepest gorge between Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna range and one of the popular trekking spots in Nepal.
Day 01. Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Briefing on the trip. Evening, an introductory sightseeing trip to Downtown Kathmandu.
Day 02. Kathmandu: Full day sightseeing covering all the important sightseeing spots in or around Kathmandu valley.
Day 03. Kathmandu (1350m) Dhampus via Pokhara: Drive to Phedi via Pokhara. Lunch on the way. About 2 hours. trek to the camp.
Day 04. Dhampus to Landruk (1646m): Trek.
Day 05. Landruk to Ghandruk (1951m). Trek: Half day sightseeing around Ghandruk.
Day 06. Ghandruk to Ghorepani (2855m): Trek.
Day 07. Ghorepani to Pun hill and Birethanti: Trek. An early morning excursion to Pun hill and trek to Birethanti for overnight camp.
Day 08. Birethanti to Pokhara: Drive to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel in Pokhara.
Day 09. Pokhara to Kathmandu: Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 10. Kathmandu to Kathmandu airport: After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to Home.
