Annapurna Sanctuary (Annapurna Basecamp), probably the most famous of the shorter treks, this trek requires 10 to 14 days and leads to the Mt. Annapurna South Face base camp. The trek begins in Pokhara passing through rice terraces to reach high mountain glaciers in a matter of days. At the culmination of the trek one is surrounded by mountain peaks on all sides. It is not advisable to go on this trek during winter and early spring due to the frequent avalanches that occur then.
Day 01. Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Briefing on the trip. Evening, an introductory sightseeing trip to Downtown Kathmandu.
Day 02. Kathmandu: Full day sightseeing covering all the important sightseeing spots in or around Kathmandu valley.
Day 03. Kathmandu(1350m) to Dhampus (1625M) via Pokhara (915M): Drive to Phedi via Pokhara. Lunch on the way. About 2 hours trek to the camp.
Day 04. Dhampus to Landruk (1646m): Trek.
Day 05. Landruk to Chomrung (1900m): Trek.
Day 06. Chomrung to Hinko Deurali( 3014m): Trek.
Day 07. Hinko to Annapurna Base Camp (3250m): Trek.
Day 08. Annapurna Base Camp to Chomrung: Trek.
Day 09. Chomrung to Ghandruk (1951m): Trek.
Day 10. Ghandruk to Nayapul and Pokhara: Trek. About 2 hrs. drive to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel.
Day 11. Pokhara to Kathmandu: Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 12. Kathmandu to Kathmandu airport: After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to Home.
