Tour Itinerary:
Day 1. Leaving Quito at 08.00, direction south by the Panamerican Highway in a 4 + 4 with an bilegual guide/driver. After 80 kms we will reach the national park Cotopaxi, we go up to 4200 mts (about 12000 feet), first, a great hike in an area with condors from where you will start the first bike adventure going down the highest active volcano in the world. We will provide new bikes with front suspension and all the safety gear, like helmet, knee and elbow pads and gloves, a home made lunch along the way, in beautiful surroundings, the ride is about 40 kms (25 miles) but not hard, no worries about altitude sickness, we will not stay long enough to get affected.
In the afternoon we go to the city of Riobamba for the night in a nice hostel Hotel Monte Carlo.
Day 2. Early rise, leaving for the mountain Chimborazo at 07.00. On our way up we visit a little mountain village where we see the way the indians live in the altitude, we continue to the altitude of 4800 mts by car (15000 feet), from where we have a hike to the refuge at 5000 mts (16000 feet), optional. Back at 4800 mts a great ride down to Ambato about 70 km ( 50 miles). From there we continue to the town of Banos for the night Hotel La Floresta.
Day 3. The town of Banos has a lot to offer, one of them is a morning rafting and an afternoon for relaxing and strolling around, also horseriding is an option. This town is right on the flanks of an active volcano, smoke can be seen every day!!
Day 4. A great ride on the bikes into the Amazon basin to the town of Puyo on the road they call 'the avenue of the orchids', also a lot of waterfalls can bee seen, about 75 km (52 miles), and from there we go to the town Puerto Napo, from were you can ride your bike into the jungle to Misahualli for the night. This is a little town in the jungle, with a nice atmosphere and monkeys all over, here we visit also a butterfly paradise. Hotel Alberge Espanol.
Day 5. A complete Jungle tour with a native guide and canoa, we have hikes in primary and secondary forest, gold washing, blowing Sarbatana (traditional blowpipe) visiting a native family and a little hunting museum. Here we are at an altitude of about 700 mts, not known as an area with risk for malaria, but avisable is to use a lot of repellent.
Day 6. We start with a ride car in the jungle towards the town of Tena from there we go to the best hotsprings in South America, Papallacta to wash of all the dust and relax. If after all this there is still enegy left there is a great and fast down hill ride on a asfalted road, no traffic, and then back to Quito.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
Price per person $585, plus 12% Ecuadorian tax $70.20, total $655.

- Dinners and drinks at night (a cost idea, a good meal $6, a beer $1.20).
