Day 1: Arrival at the resort. The resort is situated in village Tera off Ramnagar, the starting point of the spellbinding Corbett experience. It is perched on a gentle ridge flanking a seasonal stream with wonderful views of the hills on one side and the forest cover on the other side.
In the afternoon, trek to Sitabani. Sitabani is a virgin jungle where legend has it that Sita spent her days of exile after the agni pariksha. Sitabani is a birdwatchers’ paradise and there is an ashram tucked away in the virgin forest area.
Bon-fire and music with dinner in the evening.
Day 2: Early morning jungle safari at Bijrani in open jeeps to explore the jungle and its inhabitants. Lucky ones may get a glimpse of the Bengal Tiger by following pugmarks/jungle trails under expert advice of local guides. You would also see Elephants, Deer, Cheetals, Wild Boars, Leopards and Mahsheer fish.
Breakfast at the resort. Have some relaxing time to yourself.
Lunch.
Trek into the wild and dense forest with a naturalist. The natural and man-made trails will take you as deep inside as you may dare to go. Visit the local village to share the simple joys of the native folk.
Back at the resort for evening tea.
Dinner.
Day 3: Breakfast. Trek to Garjia Mata Temple- a nice place for bathing, basking in the sun, worshipping or an enchanting view of river Kosi from the top of the rock. The temple is en-route to Dhikala, at about 10 kms. from Ramnagar. There is a huge rock perching out of the Kosi river bed and on the pinnacle is a beautiful temple of Durga Devi named as Garjia. Choose to have an escort and a packed picnic lunch to have by the riverside. Return to the resort for evening tea. Bon-fire and Music with dinner in the evening.
Day 4: Breakfast. Visit Corbett Museum at Dangarhi. See the trophies of dead wild animals like man-eater tiger, leopard, deer, etc. Move on to visit Corbett’s home at Kaladhungi, around 32 Kms from Ramnagar on Nainital Road. This unique home is now a museum which houses memorabilia of the legendry hunter and his famous exploits. En-route to Kaladungi is Corbett Falls, which is an ideal place for day picnics. Evening tea. Nature walk in the area around the resort (it is a nature lover's ultimate reward) or just dip your feet in the brook by the Camp.
Dinner.
Day 5: Early morning jungle safari at Jhirna in open jeeps. Breakfast at the resort. Have some relaxing time to yourself. Lunch. Early dinner followed by a round of night drive to the 'chaurs' where under the canopy of stars you can witness the night life among the grasslands, the grazing grounds of the herbivores of the forest. The grasslands are only a few minutes drive away. Catch the glowing eyes of denizens of the dark as they venture out to feed, marvel at the prancing herds, the stray deer that may cross your path and the snorting wild hog. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee off the thermos and sit quiet and lose yourself to the sounds of the night.
Day 6: Bird watching trail/nature walk. Breakfast. Departure from the resort.
