A wine trip, which leads us from the delta of the Rio de la Plata with its pulsating metropolis Buenos Aires into the fruitful areas of wine cultivation of the Cuyo region around Mendoza at the foot of the Andes.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Buenos Aires
Welcome in Buenos Aires, Transfer to our 4 star Hotel, Check-In, Welcome cocktail in the hotel, Orientation walk through the city, Dinner in a typical steak restaurant.
Day 2: Buenos Aires - City tour - Tango Show
After our breakfast we make a City Tour which includes the most important places of Buenos Aires. Afterwards walk along the Plaza de Mayo with its famous balcony of the Casa Rosada from where all Argentine presidents hold their speeches. In the evening we enjoy a spectacular Tango Show with dinner.
Day 3: Buenos Aires - Mendoza
Transfer to the airport and flight to Mendoza. Transfer to our 4 star Hotel and short visit of the City. In the afternoon we will make our first visit to Bodega Weinert. Overnight in Mendoza.
Day 4: Mendoza
After our breakfast we will make a visit to downtown of Mendoza and in the afternoon we go for visit and tasting to Bodegas Etchart and Bodega Alta Vista.
Day 5: Mendoza
During this day we will visit other important wineries and we will enjoy an exclusive lunch in a winery. Overnight in Mendoza.
Day 6: Mendoza
During this morning we will visit Bodega la Rutal and the Fincha Flichmann and in the afternoon we drive to Bodega Nieto Senetir for visit and tasting. Overnight in Mendoza.
Day 7: Mendoza - Andes crossing to Chile
Today we cross the Andes mountain to drive to Vina del Mar on the Pacific coast. On this spectacular ride we will get nearly 4000 m high and you will see the highest mountain of South America, the Aconocagua (6.959 m/ 23.196 ft.). In the afternoon we reach our 4-Star-Hotel in Vina del Mar/Renaca. The afternoon at leisure.
Day 8: Vina del Mar - Valparaiso
Morning visit to Valparaiso including museum of Pablo Neruda (Nobel prize winner 1972), trip by cable car; exclusive lunch with view to the ocean and port; in the afternoon visit to a typical chilean winery producing wines in old fashioned method. Overnight in Viña del mar.
Day 9: Casablanca Valley - Colchagua Valley
First stop at Veramonte in the Casablanca valley, a highly modernised winery "California style". Next we will subject ourselves to an exotic "chocolate and wine" tasting session. In the afternoon we will drive down the "Carretera Grande Panamericana Sud" or Southern Panamerican Highway to Santa Cruz visiting the Bodega Undurraga on the way. We will spend the night in a four star Hotel in Santa Cruz.
Day 10: Colchagua Valley
During this day we will visit three well selected wineries in the Colchagua area with an exclusive lunch at a winery. In the afternoon visit the historical museum of Santa Cruz (next to the hotel). Dinner at night on your own, with our suggestions. (Overnight Hotel in Santa Cruz).
Day 11: Santiago de Chile
We will head north today, starting with a tasting of the new and small winery at Alvaro Espinoza (one of the most important Chilean winemakers). On our way to Santiago, we will enjoy another fine and important winery. Lunch in the typical "Mercado Central". After lunch City Tour of Santiago with outlook point "Cerro San Cristobal". In the afternoon Check-In in the charming 4star hotel Torremayor in Santiago center. Dinner this night on your own, with our suggestions.
Day 12: Santiago de Chile
That day our destination is the Maipo Valley for tours and tasting to the most important wineries. The afternoon is at your leisure. Dinner this night is in a nearby restaurant with view over the city of Santiago. (Overnight Hotel Torremayor)
Day 13: Santiago - Transfer Airport
After breakfast today, Transfer to the international airport
