Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 Trivandrum , Kovalam
Arrive at Trivandrum airport or railway station and you will received by our representative. Proceed to Kovalam and check into a beach resort. Rest of the day is for leisure at the hotel. You can enjoy the internationally renowned crescent shaped beach (Light house beach) and shop for souvenirs at the flea market next to the beach. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 2 Trivandrum
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum including Padmanabhaswamy Temple , Horse Palace , Napier Museum and the Sri Chitra Art Gallery . Later, drive back to hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 3 Kanyakumari
After an early breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari the southern tip of India where three oceans meet. En-route visit Suchindram temple (1,200 yrs old), Padmanabhapuram Palace ( Largest Wooden Palace in Asia) and also enjoy the wonderful view of the mighty Western Ghats . After lunch in Kanyakumari, proceed to jetty to board the ferry to the Vivekanda rock memorial dedicated to the famous Indian Philosopher Swami Vivekananda'. Return to main land to visit the Kanyakumari temple and later proceed to Kovalam. Overnight will be at hotel in Kovalam.
Day 4 Alleppey (Houseboat)
After an early breakfast, proceed to Alleppey also called The Venice of the East. On arrival at Alleppey, check into a traditional Kerala style houseboat and sail along the famous back waters of Kerala. Also enjoy the traditional Kerala cuisine served aboard the houseboat. Overnight will be in houseboat.
Day 5 Kumarakom
After breakfast in the houseboat, disembark the boat as it reaches Kumarakom and check into resort at Kumarakom.Kumarakom is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields, interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Rest of the day is for leisure at the resort.You can also visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary Overnight will be at the Resort.
Day 6 Thekkady
After an early breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure at the hotel.
proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary,. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 7 Thekkady
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thekkady including Spice Plantations like Cardamom, Cinnamon, Pepper, and Tea estates. In the evening go for a boat cruise in the artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam to see wild animals at close quarters.Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 8 Munnar
After an early breakfast, proceed to Munnar (Hill station) enjoying the scenic beauty and the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with low flying clouds passing by. On arrival at Munnar, check into hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure at the hotel.
Day 9 Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Munnar starting with Rajamalai ( Eravikulam National Park). This is the natural habitat of the endangered Mountain goat- the Nilgiri Thar. Half of the world population of these mountain Ghats is now found here. You can also visit Mattupetty Dam, the Indo-Swiss Project and also enjoy boat ride in the lake. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 10 Cochin
Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway Station and you will be received by our representative. Proceed to hotel and check into hotel on arrival. Cochin is a melting pot of myriad cultures and influences of a bygone era. Here in Cochin you can relieve the colonial era. Rest of the day is for leisure at the hotel. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 11 Cochin
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Cochin including Jewish Synagogue (400 yrs old), Mattancherry Palace (build in 1557), St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. You can also go for shopping in Jew Town which is lined with antique shops and spice souks. In the evening you can go for a show of Kathakali the dance drama of Kerala. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 12 Departure
Check out of hotel after breakfast and proceed to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
