Stay overnight at the exclusive Riverside Cabins and ride 40km of wonderful mt bike tracks. Take in the amazing views of the Tongariro mountains and beautiful native forests in the park.
Beginning in either Rotorua or Taupo, picking you up from your accommodation we will make our way to the Tongariro National Park. Here we head to a privately owned forest and hop aboard a specialised off roader to take us up the rough 4wd tracks to the top of our ride. Reaching the peak, we can take in the stunning mountain and forest views before we mount the latest GT full suspension mountain bikes and take an exciting 20km downhill ride to our campsite where a professional chef will prepare an exquisite meal for our dinner. That night, we take rest in our Riverside Cabins and sleep easy in this remote and tranquil setting.
Come morning, after another delicious meal we start on the infamous 42 Traverse trail on our bikes and ride the 22 km trail to the end where we meet our vehicle and make our return back to Taupo or Rotorua.
Min. 2 pax/ for ages 15 and over, all skill levels. We supply Mountain bike, safety Helmet, main meals, water & snack pack, forest concession fees and transport. Clients must know how to ride a bike and some fitness is required.
