Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: 13:35 Arrival - George Airport.
* Transport tourists to Mes Amis which is located right on the Wilderness Beach with an unsurpassed view of the Indian Ocean. Watch dolphins from your private patio.
* Spend rest of the day at leisure - walk along the beautiful beach and just enjoy the natural beauty and magnificent accommodation.
* Evening dinner transfer available at no extra cost, should it be required.
Day 2: 08:30 Collect tourists after breakfast at Mes Amis. 10:30 Visit Knysna Elephant Park for guided tour. Get up close and personal to the majestic elephants. Touch, feed and interact with these gentle giants. 13:00 Visit Tsitsikamma National Park. Lunch at the Restaurant. Known as a little piece of Eden - This National Park has the most beautiful coast line, wild and rugged. This visit is a must. Do the boardwalk to the hanging bridge if you feel like a fairly strenuous walk. 15:00 Return via the scenic Bloukrans Pass and Natures Valley. Drive through and see the sights of Plettenberg Bay. 17:30 Arrive back at Mes Amis. Evening transfer available at no extra cost should it be required.
Day 3: 08:30 Collect tourists after breakfast at Mes Amis. Proceed to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo via the majestic Outeniqua Pass.
10:00 Visit Cango Wildlife Ranch. This includes a fully guided tour of the ranch, beginning with the crocodile and alligators and includes all the big cats in Cheetahland, reptiles, and much, much more. 11:30 Visit Cango Ostrich Farm. A Klein Karoo experience. Enjoy a guided tour and even have the experience of riding an ostrich! Visit the fascinating curio shop.
13:00 Visit Wilgewandel. A unique experience nobody else can offer. Go back in time to 1898 - you will be greeted by a welcoming party dressed in authentic pioneer style clothing, with folk song and dance. An interesting guided tour of 15 - 20 minutes through the cultural village will follow with lots of live action and photo opportunities. This tour includes a delectable traditional lunch served in authentic dinner ware.
15:00 Visit Cango Caves. A guided tour of this magnificent natural phenomenon. Browse in the interesting curio shop. 16:30 Drive through the beautiful Klein Karoo back to Mes Amis. Arrival time +/- 18:00. Evening transfer available at no extra cost should it be required.
Day 4: 08:30 Collect tourists after breakfast at Mes Amis and proceed to George Transport Museum in the Garden Route. 09:30 Board the Outeniqua Power Van. Travel by rail in the Outeniqua Mountains. Experience the forest and four passes, waterfalls and tunnels, fynbos and proteas, bird and animal life and spectacular views. 12:00 Lunch at the Stimela Restaurant in the Outeniqua Transport Museum. 13:00 Scenic drive to the Knysna Waterfront. Spend some time shopping and browsing in the quaint shops along the waterfront. 15:00 Enjoy a boat trip to the world famous Knysna Heads where the estuary flows into the ocean. 16:45 Return by road from Knysna to Mes Amis in Wilderness.
Day 5: 08:30 Collect tourists after breakfast at Mes Amis. 09:00 Scenic drive via Victoria Bay/Herolds Bay to Mossel Bay. 12:00 Boat trip to Seal Island. 13:00 Lunch in Mossel Bay. 14:30 Visit Bartholomu Diaz Museum Complex (Discoverer of Mossel Bay).
A fascinating journey through a colorful past such as - the post office tree; culture museum; shell museum and aquarium. Go on the replica of Diaz's ship and much, much more. 16:00 See the sights of Mossel Bay. 16:30 Return via the scenic route back to George. Transfer to George Airport for flight to destination.
