Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Johannesburg. Departure for Johannesburg by international flight. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Johannesburg. Arrival in Johannesburg and transfer to the four star Grand Airport Hotel. The rest of the day can be dedicated to an optional visit to Gold Reef City, an interesting reconstruction of the Johannesburg of the early years of the ‘900, where you will be able to descend into a real gold mine and assist in the fusion of an ingot. Overnight.
Day 3: Johannesburg/Phalaborwa. Breakfast. Transfer by road to the historical village of Pigrim’s Rest, a national monument. After visiting Pilgrim’s Rest you may enjoy a traditional pancake lunch. The journey will continue to the gracious town of Phalaborwa, next to the Kruger National Park. Overnight at the exclusive Hans Merensky Golf Estate.
Day 4: Phalaborwa/Private Nature Reserve. Breakfast. Visit Masorini archaeological site and Letaba’s Elephant Museum inside the world famous Kruger National Park. Picnic lunch and return to Phalaborwa. In the early afternoon transfer to a Private Nature Reserve in time for an exciting 4x4 open vehicle safari. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Private Nature Reserve. 4x4 open vehicle, Safari before breakfast. After lunch you will participate to a second 4x4 open vehicle Safari. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Private Nature Reserve/Cape Town. Early morning tea and coffee followed by a 4x4 open vehicle Safari in the Private Nature Reserve. Transfer to Hoedspruit airport and departure for Cape Town via Johannesburg. Arrival in Cape Town and private transfer to the four stars Waterfront Commodore Hotel. Once your baggage has been arranged, we suggest to spend the rest of the day visiting the Cape Town Waterfront. Overnight.
Day 7: Cape Town. Breakfast. Tour of the Cape Peninsula. In the course of the day you will be able to visit the splendid of the Cape Peninsula National Park and admire the colorful harbor of Hout Bay, from where you will be able to embark on an optional short Seal’s Island cruise. During the afternoon you may visit a Penguin Colony at Boulders. Overnight.
Day 8: Cape Town. Breakfast. Tour of “The Wine Route”. In the morning you will visit the historical town of Stellenbosch and its interesting "Village Museum". During the course of the day you will also be able to visit a typical Wine Farm where the famous wine of the Cape is still produced. Light lunch included. Return to Cape Town. Overnight.
Day 9: Cape Town/Departure. Breakfast. Morning at disposal for optional activities. Early afternoon private transfer to the airport and departure for Johannesburg with an internal scheduled flight. In the evening you will board your international return flight. Dinner and overnight on board.
