Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to St. Petersburg, meeting with the guide. Transfer to the city and check in to the hotel.
Day 2: City tour featuring major sights, such as the fourth biggest cathedral in the world St. Isaac’s, Peter-and-Paul Fortress located on the tiny island where the city was founded 300 years ago, magnificent Smolny and Nikolsky Cathedrals as well as fascinating city street and square. Guided tour to the Hermitage, one of the world’s biggest museum, which houses the largest collection of art, sculpture and ancient relics in the world. Boat trip along the channels and the Neva River. The channels of St.Petersburg are famous by elegant and magnificent embankments and by their bridges. From the boat opens the marvelous view to Palace Bridge and Troitzky bridge and Vasilievsky island spit.
Day 3: The guided excursion to Peterhof - the summer residence of Peter the Great. There is the most beautiful collections of the fountains in the world in the Lower Gardens: the famous Great Cascade, Golden Samson Fountain, Chessboard Hill and lots of other elegant and magnificent fountains. The Bath House Marli and Monplaisir palaces are the parts of one marvelous ensemble. Visit to Grand Palace of Peter the Great. Evening: The traditional Russian folk show with a delicious buffet with champagne and canapés with red caviar in Nikolaevsky Palace.
Day 4: The guided tour to Tsarskoe Selo (Pushkin) - a wonderful suberb of the city, known as a favourite residence of Catherine the Great. Visit to the beautiful Baroque-style Catherine Palace, and the legendary Amber Room, reopened after complete renovation. Visit to the Amber Salon. Departure to Pavlovsk. The guided walk along the Pavlovsk park one of the greatest non-regular parks in Russia and Europe and visit to Paul I Palace. Troika-ride in the carriage around the park, a traditional entertainment of Russiam noblemen.
Evening: The performance in the Hermitage Theatre.
Day 5: Ceck out. Transfer to the airport.
P.S: There is a possibility of a facultative excursion ‘The Night St. Petersburg’ – a guided night city-tour with watching the panorama of lifting bridges and the sunset.
