Unmatched anywhere, Bwindi forest hosts more than half of the mountain gorillas in the world. It is indeed a great experience to visit these enormously powerful and gentle creatures in their spectacular natural habitat. The different gorilla families have been habituated to human contact. This tour package entails a 3 days safari to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, the home of the mountain gorillas.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: After an early morning breakfast we shall drive to the south western parts of the country with a stop over at the equator. En-route we shall view the long curving horned cattle, acacia woodland, large banana plantations and the rolling green hills of Kabale nick named the “Switzerland of Uganda”. Dinner and over night at Buhoma bandas(budget) or you can up grade to a gorilla resort,a luxury facility.
Day 2: After an early breakfast we shall have a briefing from the park ranger guide about the gorilla tracking activity.We shall take with us lunch boxes and all the necessary equipment to trap the mountain gorillas. Return in the evening for dinner and over night.
Day 3: There shall be a possibility for a morning village walk and return to Kampala after breakfast with a lunch stop on the way and airport drop for clients who will be departing immediately after the tour.Those no departing will need to check into a hotel in Kampala.
