Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Met by us at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and Transferred to Kaapsehoop Horse trails. Introduction, lunch and a one-hour ride. Dinner and overnight at Kaapsehoop Horse Trails.
Day 2: Breakfast and depart on the Wilderness trail, via Kaapsehoop (an old mining town), via the Blue swallow reserve, gallop with the wild horses that have roamed the mountains for the last hundred years. Have lunch at the bush camp. In the afternoon go on a walk to view old mines and magnificent waterfalls. Dinner and overnight in comfortable tents and relax next to a log fire.
Day 3: Breakfast and depart on a full day ride along the magnificent Drakensberg escarpment viewing more wild horses and a fantastic Panorama over the Barberton valley rumoured to have the oldest rock formation in the world, enjoy a picnic lunch, always on the look out for the black leopard seen at times, Small game and animals are spotted frequently, return to the bush camp and relax over a camp fire cooked meal.
Day 4: An early start along the escarpment back to kaapsehoop Horse Trails where the clients will enjoy lunch and depart for the Kruger Park with us in a open game drive vehicle. Enter the Kruger Park and start searching for the many animals & birds including the famous Big Five (Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo). All meals will be in the many restaurants in the Kruger Park, Accommodation will be in rondavel bungalow style rooms with clients sharing. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Again an early start with your ranger searching for those that were not seen the day before, breakfast then relax in the mid day heat with a little siesta, lunch and a late afternoon drive. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Always showing clients new parts of the park where the different bush makes home for different animals and birds, always eating great and delicious meals at different venues. Overnight.
Day 7: A short safari brings the week to an end at the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport where the new friends will say good buy to only return next year for another amazing adventure.
