Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: We will leave after breakfast to take the journey via Kampala through Uganda’s beautiful green undulating countryside to Masindi, where lunch will be available at the local colonially designed Masindi hotel.
Day 2: After lunch, we will make the amazing launch trip to the Murchison Falls. We will pass schools of hippo, crocs, vast numbers of exotic birds and butterflies and myriad wildlife coming to the water to drink. We will maybe see the legendary shoebill stork. The whole of the Albert Nile bursting majestically through a six metre gap to an awesome forty metre drop. In the afternoon, we will experience our first game scenic drive in the park.
Day 3: A pre-breakfast “Sunrise Game Drive” starts the day after which, we will return to the lodge with a hearty appetite for breakfast after which, we will view the awesome falls from another angle, the top. We will have the opportunity to experience this massive rush of water at close quarters by taking the pathway to the base of the falls and back! Afternoon free dinner at the lodge, optional evening cruise.
