Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: USA or Canada - Europe. Today you board your transatlantic flight to Europe. In-flight.
Day 2: Europe - Johannesburg, South Africa. Depart from Europe by overnight flight to Johannesburg International Airport, South Africa.
Day 3: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Our safari guide will meet you upon arrival. We head in an easterly direction towards the capital of Mpumalanga province, a.k.a “Nelspruit”. We will make a stop to allow you to enjoy a little shopping of some items such as films, insect repellents, snacks and other few items you think you might need. We continue to travel via the scenic Panorama Route of the Mpumalanga escarpment.
Due to the abundant foliage and water holes in the area, the big five and the little five as well as all other animals abounds here. Lions are quite common in this area. They like to stay on the shades in the heat of the day. There is great opportunity to see elephants, hippo, zebra, crocodiles and other reptiles as you get close to the banks of the Sabi River. Your guide will continue to introduce you to many interesting aspects of the environment. The ecosystem will come alive to you as you understand how the animals, trees, plants and insect life all interact.
Tonight we overnight at Skuza Camp. We can enjoy the delicious dinner in the open air environment (weather permitting) around the fire. B.D.
Day 4: Kruger National Park
Enjoy your early cup of tea/coffee and you can go for a walking safari. Full breakfast is served later in the morning before we go for another breathtaking scenic safari drive to explore the Kruger National Park. Later this afternoon after lunch, an exhilarating game drive continues in an open 4X4 vehicles. The majority of the day is spent on game drives searching for as many wildlife species as possible in their natural habitat .Towards the evening, you will still be enjoying and having fun deep in the bush.
A final highlight is a specially prepared dinner enjoyed under stars around the campfire ( weather permitting). Dinner tonight has a very special highlight when you will be treated to a typical South African Braai (Barbeque) prepared over an open fire. B.D.
Day 5: Kruger National Park - Johannesburg
The day begins with an early morning coffee/tea before your early morning game drive. This is your last chance to spot any wildlife which may have eluded you until now. Look out for lion, giraffe, elephant, hippo, crocodile, zebra and many others.
Today, we travel back to Johannesburg/Pretoria. Drop off at a hotel of your choice to enjoy your dinner or the Johannesburg International Airport. Board your overnight flight to Europe. B. L.
Day 6: Europe - USA or Canada. Today you arrive in Europe and you will connect your flight home.
