Simatai Great Wall one day hiking tour
The introduction of the Simatai:
It lies 120 kilometers (44.7miles) from downtown Beijing. The section is 19kilometers (11.miles) long with
35 magnificent watch towers.
Tour Itinerary:
Pick you up at 8:30am from your hotel. Then drive to the
Great Wall at Simatai (approximately 2.5 hours' drive), hike for 3 hours to the both east & west sections of
Simatai. Drive back to the city at around 15:30. (L)

Venders: there're tons of venders make their livings by following the tourists at Simatai and Jinshanling, they
usually wait those visitors at the entrance of thewall, and walk following behind them almost all the way on
the Wall. These vendersbehave OK, not as bad as venders in the city. In the tour, they might do you some
help, such as help you carry your bag, giving you a hand on the steep part, etc…Meanwhile they will keep on
persuading you to buy some souvenirs (post card, T-shirt..) from them, if you don't buy, tip will be expected.
