The Hvítá river is a beautiful and fun river a one hour drive from Reykjavik. For over 20 years the River Fun rafting trip has been Iceland´s most popular adventure activity. The river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. As we pass through the magnificent Brúarhlöđ canyon participants have the option of jumping from a cliff into the river. Nobody should leave Iceland without experiencing the power that its rivers contain and lay eyes on the scenic canyons of Hvítá river.
Guaranteed departures: Everyday at 12:30 from Reykjavik and 14:00 from Drumbó base camp. Available from the 1st of June to the 1st of September. Check out our river rafting base camp Drumbó! Inside our cozy countryside boathouse we have the famous DrumBar restaurant.
