Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Amboseli
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to Nairobi hotel to freshen-up. Later drive to Amboseli National Park nestled at the foothills of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (250 km). Lunch is followed by a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli, Sopa Lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli,
Full day in Amboseli to enjoy early morning and late afternoon game-drives. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast drive to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha arriving at the lodge in the early afternoon with lunch en route (350 kms). Rest of the afternoon at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions including guided walks with naturalists or boat rides (book and pay locally). Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara
After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge (270 km). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara
An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Depart
After breakfast return to Nairobi (300 km) and proceed with your chosen extension or return home.
