Meet us at nearby Nunawading Station (9.20am) or at the Yarra River start location in Warrandyte (10am). Prior to the tour confirm your choice of single or double kayak or a canoe. An introduction to flat water skills and steering the boat before we head off downstream to the grade 2 rapids. Enjoy the great Aussie bushlands and maybe spot a koala or kookaburra if you're lucky as we paddle down to the old gold mining township of Warrandyte.
A picnic lunch on the river bank before heading downstream again. View the old gold mining tunnel at Pound Bend before we exit. A relaxing day where the river takes you through some natural park lands at an easy pace. We finish at about 3.30pm on the river then you get changed and taken back to your vehicle or the train station.
