Your dream can become true. Two proposals as regards to Ferrari driving:
- Driving a rented Ferrari in the "Motor Land", till Maranello and famous motor museums, factories and collections, with a pit-stop in the renowned restaurants of the area.
- Or taking part to a driving session along a track for a unique experience: the instructor by your side will teach you how to manage sudden curves and breaking. Then it's your turn! At the end of the day, a certificate for the best ones. At the sides of the track a cameraman will film your performances for a DVD or a VHS: the best souvenir, the best gift to make... or receive! Maserati in front of Modena Dom.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Delivery of the Ferrari as agreed. Meeting and welcome drink in Maranello at the bar in front of the Ferrari factory. Short briefing then get on board to drive the red myth along the road that from Maranello goes up to the mountains and that was used in the 50ies to test the Ferraris that were just came out from the factory. Pit stop at a traditional ham producer to know (and taste!) one of the most renowned product of the area. On the road again to reach a motor collection (Ducati, or Lamborghini) of what is called "Motor Land". Back to Maranello driving along back roads in the hilly countryside of the local Lambrusco wine. Dinner at the "motor" restaurant standing near the Ferrari track. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Breakfast. Guided visit of a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese producer: from fresh milk to the king of cheese. Driving tour of Maranello till the Wind Tunnel designed by Renzo Piano and the brand new part of the factory designed by Massimiliano Fuksas. A peep at the Fiorano track where Schumacher and Barrichello test the single-seats, then drive to Modena for a guided visit of the town where Enzo Ferrari was born and started his great motor adventure. Modena is considered the capital of the so called "Motor Land" and also hosts the Maserati and De Tomaso factories. As regards to art, Modena's cathedral has been included by UNESCO together with its piazza in the list of Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Shopping time in the historical center then go on board to drive till the castles' route. Back in Maranello and dinner at the "motor" restaurant in front of the Ferrari factory. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Breakfast. Visit of the Ferrari museum, constantly updated by new trophies and cars then enjoy again your Ferrari. Florence and Venice are "just round the corner" from Maranello and you could get a drive there just to enjoy the driving and have a cappuccino in one of the most beautiful town in the world. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Monday. Breakfast. Drop off the Ferrari. End of the services.
