Nature lovers will have a chance to admire magnificent fields of grain where from time to time, if you are lucky, you will spot the many camouflaged inhabitants of these un-spoilt lands.

You will follow a unique Eagles' Nests trail where you may discover ruins of dozens of castles' battlements dating back to the XIVth and XVth centuries situated on innumerable hills. Among these ancient monuments you will have a chance to see the three most splendid ruins in Ogrodzieniec and Smolen. You will find it difficult to leave these mysterious reminders of the middle ages.

On your way there will be another great curiosity, the Bledowska Desert, also known as the Polish Sahara. The most extensive area of wind-born sands in Poland stretched on a distance of 32 square km. You will feel transported to a different world, the world of nomads.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1.

Morning - arrival to Slawkow, a village opening this equestrian
adventure. We will get on our horses and move towards
Ogrodzieniec castle – the famous medieval castle damaged
during the Swedish invasion of Poland in the years 1655–
1660. Ogrodzieniec Castle stands among fanciful limestone
crags atop the greatest (504 m) elevation of the Krakow Upland, granting splendid panorama. We will let our horses relaxing on
the grass and we will climb the imposing ruins to admire fortifications and towers...

Day 2.

The two castles, set among unusually shaped limestone rocks and different kinds of flora, are only separated by a pleasant and interesting stroll. Against such a backdrop, it is no wonder that there is a legend about a beautiful girl deeply loved by two brothers. According to legend, each brother had his own castle, and then, of course, there was betrayal and an unhappy ending.
Today, we start from Karlin where we have spent the night. We will follow the Trans-Jurassic Horse Trail and stop by the ruins of
Mirow and Bobolice castles.

Day 3.

Today, we will visit the ruins of Olsztyn Castle built in the 14th
century by King Casmir the Great. Our horses will show us the outskirts of Czestochowa - spiritual capital of Poland. The most important monument in Czestochowa is the fathers Paulins' sanctuary. This is a complex of sacral architecture placed on a hill named Light Mountain (Jasna Gora) where the painting presenting Black Madonna, believed to be responsible for many miracles, is located. 4 millions pilgrims ramble there every year for prayers and reverie.

Day 4.

Day four on the trail is the route towards Rzedkowice. We will still admire the beauty of the nature remained untouched as we first saw it. One more day spent on horse, exploring the beautiful scenery! We will admire a picturesque area and we will be relaxing in the pleasant atmosphere of the countryside.

Day 5.

After having a breakfast, we start our way back to Karlin. We
will get ready to gallop on the perfect sand paths like medieval
knights did before us! Marvellous paths, beautiful views, what else do we need to be happy?

Day 6.

It is our last day on trail! After breakfast, we start our way back to the starting point – Slawkow. We will get our horses and move towards the great curiosity, the Bledowska Desert, also known as the Polish Sahara. A Legend tells that once the people of the region decided to mine in this area but the devil himself feared the people might dig down into his hideout in hell. So he decided to travel to the sea shore and return with a bag of sand in order to burry the mine. But on his way back and loaded with a huge bag full of sand, he wasn't paying attention and unfortunately between Olkusz and Klucze, he sliced the bag open with the tip of a church tower, losing all the sand. The result of this was the Bledowska Desert. Crossing this area of wind-born sands, you will feel transported to a different world, the world of nomads!
