Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Home City - Santiago. Meet and Greet upon arrival to Santiago's modern International Airport, and transfer to the Hotel Torremayor or similar. Balance of day free to relax, shop and explore on your own.
Day 2: Santiago - City Tour. Following breakfast, enjoy City Tour of Santiago, Chile's beautiful cosmopolitan capital city, a mix of modern and classic European architecture. Visit La Moneda, Chile's Presidential Palace, the Church of San Francisco, La Catedral, Cerro Santa Lucia, the chic Providencia and El Golf district, and the beautiful residential area of Las Condes. Afternoon is free for relaxing, shopping or perhaps an optional evening tour to enjoy typical Chilean Dinner Show complete with local cuisine, dancing and the colorful Chilean Huaso. Includes: (B).
Day 3: Santiago - Vina del Mar - Valparaiso. Following breakfast, depart for Chile's alluring Pacific coast and the lovely garden city of Vina del Mar, translated as the Vineyard by the Sea. Then to the seaport city of Valparaiso settled centuries ago by Spanish and English sailors, and reminiscent of turn of the century San Francisco with its Victorian architecture and dramatic hilltop views of the ocean below. Lunch on your own with many choice restaurants to select from, and then return to Santiago just an hour and half away. Includes: (B).
Day 4: Santiago - Puerto Montt/Puerto Varas. Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport for one hour forty-five minute flight to Puerto Montt, gateway to Chile's gorgeous Alpine-like lake region. Meet and Greet upon arrival, and transfer to the Hotel Cabanas Del Lago or similar in nearby Puerto Varas. Balnce of day free to relax, shop and explore on your own. Includes: (B).
Day 5: Lake Crossing: Puerto Montt/ Puerto Varas - Petrohue - Puella. Following breakfast, morning departure bordering beautiful Lake Llanquihue with impressive Osorno Volcano as your backdrop on route to Petrohue (76 km. - 2 hours by modern motor coach). Board catamaran to navigate beautiful Lake Todos Los Santos, knon as the Emerald Lake for its gorgeous blue-green waters on route to Peulla (27 km - 1 hour 45 minutes). Arrival to Peulla approximately at 1:00 p.m., and transfer to Hotel Natura or similar. Afternoon free to stroll and explore on your own. Tonight's dinner is included in the hotel's restaurant. Day 6: Lake Crossing: Puella - Bariloche. Following breakfast, morning departure by modern motor coach forPuerto Frias (27 km - 2 hours). From Puerto Frias, board ferry to cross Lake Frias on route to Puerto Alegre (7 km - 20 minutes). From Puerto Alegre, board catamaran navigating beautiful Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Panuelo (22 km - 1 hour). Arrive to Puerto Panuelos and transfer via modern motor coach to Bariloche (25 km - 30 minutes). Arrival and transfer to the Hotel Edelweiss or similar. Balance of day free to relax, stroll and explore on your own this very scenic Alpine-like resort village on your own. Includes: (B).
Day 7: Bariloche - Buenos Aires. Breakfast. At scheduled hour, transfer to the Airport for two and a half hour flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina's cosmopolitan capital city reminiscent of Madrid and Paris. Meet and Greet upon arrival, and Transfer to the Hotel De Las Americas or similar. Balance of day free. Includes: (B).
Day 8: Buenos Aires - City Tour. Breakfast. Enjoy comprehensive City Tour of this beautiful city reminiscent of many European capitals with its narrow streets and wide tree-lined boulevards, turn of the century architecture, sidewalk cafes, elegant window shops, and lively night life. City Tour begins on busy Avenue 9 de Julio, the impressive Colon Theater and famous Obelisk, key symbol of the city. Continue to Government district, the Legislative Palace dating to early 20th century. Then to historic Plaza de Mayo and beautiful Casa Rosada, the Presidential Palace.
Nearby is the Cathedral where the remains of Argentina's greatest national hero, the liberator General San Martin, lie. Continue to colorful Italian inspired Boca District and funky outdoor art displays. Ring along port of Buenos Aires to magnificent homes of Palermo district and elegant shops of Recoleta district. Afternoon free to rela, shop and explore on your own. Evening free or enjoy an optional tour to world famous Tango Show. Includes (B).
Day 9: Buenos Aires. Breakfast. Day at leisure to shop the smart boutiques along Florida and Santa Fe Avenues. Leather and suede, and Argentine handicraft are absolute musts at bargain prices. Or take an optional tour to an authentic Fiesta Gaucha, leave Buenos Aires for pastoral countryside to enjoy traditional music, dancing, and sumptuous Argentine barbecue, following lunch, enjoy authentic Argentine Gauchos display their extraordinary skill on horseback. For a fun evening, perhaps try lively food and drink at Spadavechia's Cantina in the Boca district. Although not gourmet, food is plentiful, and there's plenty of dancing and singing in the aisles. Day 10: Buenos Aires - Home City. Breakfast. Today say adios to this exciting city. At scheduled hour, transfer to Airport for flight homeward or next destination. Includes (B).
