The experience combines the tranquility of natural spaces with the extreme excitement of gliding through and above the forests, with significant emphasis on interpretation and educational talks on the platforms. Safety is of paramount importance and highly trained and very experienced field guides accompany small groups of tourists during the excursion. Utilizing the magnificent old and new growth Forests in and around the Hollybank area, which is located a short drive from Launceston to the North East, we offer a unique and exhilarating adventure into this spectacular world. The tour combines the adrenaline rush of a high wire canopy ride with an informative and highly entertaining outlook of the Forest.
Visitors arriving at the center, deep in the Hollybank Eucalypt forest, are met by our expert guides, and introduced to the offering and fully briefed in all aspects of the adventure, its high safety standards and expectations for the 3 hour duration. Participants enjoy the adventure in no more than 10 people per group, aided and guided by two highly qualified personnel. A comprehensive overview of the forest and it’s make up is provided by each of the resident guides, most of which, are local inhabitants who have grown up in and around this extraordinary asset.
This tour is a 7 days, a week activity, as adventuring into the forest on either a bright sunny day, or an overcast, rained filled day will bring different and exciting elements to the adventure. Groups leave the center at 30 minute intervals, and the adventure lasts for approximately three hours, arriving back at the center to clear kit and enjoy refreshments and debriefing by their guides. We cater for all healthy individuals aged from 3 to 90, and for those who do not wish to participate in the ride; the center is surrounded by magnificent pathways through the forest, to enjoy a leisurely walk.
