* Fazenda NS do Carmo:
80 kms from Belém, 25 minutes by one engine chartered plane to Salvaterra air strip or 3 hours by regular boat to port of Camará. Then 30 minutes by van + 45 min by motorized canoe up the Camará river.
* Infrastructure:
In the wooden-made main house there are 2 living rooms, 01 dinning room, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + 4 rooms with private bathroom in a separate block outside the main house. Energy provided by diesel generator (from 6.00 pm till 11.00 pm only ), fresh water, telephone, TV. No luxury, no airco, no fan.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Early morning transfer to Belém pier. Regular line boat to Marajó (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival at pier of Camará, transfer by van then by motorized canoe to the ranch (approx. 11/2 hour depending on tide). Full-board accomodations at ranch. Field trips on the ranch.
Day 2: Full-board accomodations. Full day of activities on the ranch.
Day 3: After lunch, transfer by motorized canoe to the pier of Camará. Regular line boat to Belém (approx. 3hours). Arrival in Belém in the late afternoon. Transfer back to the hotel.
