Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: 10.30 - Embarkment on the barge at Masiakampy, 35 km far from Miandrivazo, beginning of the descent adventure. Lunch on board. Entry of the bemaraha Gorge, watch the water birds and wild duks and Hérons.
17.00. Arrival at the Cascade Ampela Nosy. Bath in the peaceful natural swimming pool. On a large sandbank, full-board bivouac accommodation.
19.30 Dinner on board, camping fire on the sandbank and night under tents.
Day 2: 07.30 Second incursion in the swimming pool, disinstallation of the tents.
08.30 Continuation to the gorges of Bemaraha and breakfast on board. Observation of the crocodiles, bats and another kinds of water birds. Visit of a fisher village on the riverside, eventual opportunity to buy fresh fish of the river for lunch (grill). Lunch on board. Stop at the village of Ambatomainty and visit of the forest to observe lemurs (sifaka and other varieties as gidro (brown lemurs and mangoz). Entry of the Menabe plain.
17.00 Arrival at the village of Tsaraotana. Installation of the camping on the sandbank.
19.30 Dinner on board, camp fire with the local population, night under tents.
Day 3:
08.00 Disinstallation of the bivoauc and departure along the Menabe plain through ricefields breakfast and lunch on board.
13.00 Arrivala at Tsimafana, 106 Km far from Morondava, or at Belo, disembarkment.
