Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival in Tripoli you will be met by your guide, who will complete the entry formalities for you, and escort you to your hotel. An afternoon walk along Tripoli's shore and busy centre, followed by an evening meal by the Arch of Marcus Aurelius.
Day 2: Today you will fly to Benghazi, to begin the WW2 tour by visiting the Benghazi War Cemetery; head for Apollonia in the Green Mountain, to visit some of the most impressive Greek and Roman remains; then continue to Cyrene for the night.
Days 3 & 4: Today you will start your journey towards Tobruk, transfer to the hotel, followed by a tour of the historical town. You will start exploring Tobruk's numerous war sites and cemetries, including the Commonwealth Cemetery, the English Cemetery, the French Cemetery, the German Cemetery, the Knightsbridge Cemetery, the Museum, and the Australian or the Fig Tree Hospital, which was used as a hospital during the war.
Day 5: A drive to Alburdi, also known as Bardia, to visit the room of John Brill - the British soldier and artist who painted the famous Bardia Mural, followed by a quick tour of Bardia, then return to Benghazi for the night.
Day 6: Today you will fly back to Tripoli.
Day 7: A quick tour of Tripoli (depending on time of flight), departure & farewell.
