Day 1: Johannesburg to Great Zim. Ruins.
Starting our Journey in Johannesburg we head north
towards Beitbridge where we cross the border into
Zimbabwe. After completion of customs and Immigration
formalties we head into town. for some refreshments and
for some relaxation. We continue our journey hoping to
reach Great Zimbabwe late afternoon, where we camp for
the evening, after setting up camp we will explore the
ruins. (Dinner included)
Day 2 & 3: Great Zim. Ruins to Nyanga.
After breaking camp we continue onto the Birchenough
bride and Mutare, here will stop to stock up on supplies
for the next two days of our journey. We camp the next
two nights in the Idylic Nyanga National park under the
Pines trees, where Sable antelope are often seen
wallking through the camp site at night. During th next
two days we will explore Troutback, Udu dam and the
waterfalls of the region (breakfast, lunch and dinner
included)
Day 4: Nyanga to Chinhoyi Caves.
Departing early from Nyanga we head for Modern city of
Harare, here you are free to look around the city, before
we move onto the Chinhoyi caves mid afternoon. These
caverns are limestone and dolomite sinkholes which are
46 meters deep and end in 91 meter aquamarine pool,
filled with fish and plant life. We relax here to night to a
'braaied' meal. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 5 & 6: Chinhoyi to Kariba. Travelling up past
Karoi the center of the Makonde districts tabaco
growing, we evenually reach makuti where we turn left
down the winding road to Kariba. Be aware allong the
road as there is much wildlife to be seen here. At Kariba
we will spend two nights.Tonight we make arrangements
for those who wish to go canoeing the next day. (Own
expense). Thsoe who chose not to goCanoeing will spend
the next day exploring the Surrounding including Most
high hotel, the crafters market, the Dam wall and Andora
harbour. we will lunch at the Kariba breezes (own
expense)(breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 7 to 9: Kariba to Victoria falls.
Today we depart early for the long drive through Zambia
ahead of us, Allong the route we will stop at the craft
center at Mazabuku and the Zambian side of the victoria
falls. we hope to reach The Zimbawean border about
14h00. The next three nights will be spent camping at
Victoria falls. Here you are able to explore the town at
your leisure.
Day 7 to 9: Kariba to Victoria falls.
Today we depart early for the long drive through
Zambia ahead of us, Allong the route we will stop at
the craft center at Mazabuku and the Zambian side of
the victoria falls.we hope to reach The Zimbawean
border about 14h00. The next three nights will be
spent camping at Victoria falls. Here you are able to
explore the town at your leisure. Time here is also
allocated for those who wish to go White water
rafting, bungi jumping and canoeing (Own expense).
One evening we will attend the Traditonal dancing at
the Fallscraft village there after we will site back to a
catered meal at a local restuarant (own Expense.)
Those who choose not to go White water rafting will
be taken to explore the Zambezi national park, and
the surrounding areas. (breakfast, lunch and dinner
included)
Day 10 & 11: Vic. Falls to Hwange park.
After a busy few days in Victoria falls we take a
relaxed drive to Sinematella camp in Hwange
National Park, occasionally stopping at the craft
vendors allong the road. After setting up camp at
Sinematella the rest of the afternoon will be spent on a
game drive, here most of the big five are prevalent. Our
second day sees us taking leave of Sinematella allong
the winding road through the park down the main
camp. where we camp our second night.(breakfast,
lunch & dinner included)
Day 12: Hwange Nat. park to Matopos.
Heading South our first stop is Bulowayo here you are
free to explore the city, and it's many craft vendors. We
depart Bulowayo mid afternoon, for Matopos
National park, where we camp the night at Maleme
Dam, Within the park we will vist the Grave of Cecil
John Rhodes at worlds view and bushman paintings at
Pomongwe cave and Nswatugi cave. We enjoy therest
of the eving around th camp fire. (breakfast, lunch and
dinner included)
Day 13: Matopos to Tshipese.
Sadly today we depart Zimbabwe, and head toward
Tshipese Hot water spring, we camp the night here.
The rest of the evening can be spent relaxing in the
Hot water baths. To night we dine out (breakfast and
lunch included)
Day 14:Tshipese to Johannesburg.
We depart Tshipese for Johannesburg, stopping
allong the way at Some of the towns and scenic areas,
we hope to arrive early afternoon. Guests will
be droped of at there place of accommodation or at the airport for onward flight. (Breakfast included)
Above price includes: meals, coffee, tea, orange juice at breakfast, transport, tented accommodation, national park fees, guide, group equipment, (We do not use the food kitty system).
