This gentle flowing class II section of river runs through the Skagit River Bald Eagle Natural Area, which from December through February is a wintering site for large numbers of American Bald Eagles. Experience the beauty of these majestic birds as they soar over head or perch on a nearby tree limb overhanging the river. A great expierence for the whole family. No special gear is necessary for this trip. Just dress for the weather and bring your camera and be prepared for some great photo opportunities. Weekend getaway packages including dinner and a night lodging are also available.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
We meet our guest at 10:00AM at Howard Miller State Park in Rockport Washington. After a brief safety orientation our guest are shuttled to our launch site at Marblemount Washington where we begin our float trip. We travel by river raft down ten miles of the beautiful Skagit River which is located on the western edge of the North Cascades National Park and through the Skagit River Bald Eagle Natural Area. Arriving back at Howard Miller state park around 2:00PM.

Price starts at $55 per person, $45 per person with a group of 8 or more. Bed & Breakfast package is $190.00 per couple based on double occupancy. This includes the float trip for two, along with one night lodging with evening beverages and dessert and a full ranch breakfast to start off your day.
