Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival In Amman
Meet & assist by our representative at Queen Alia Airport, who will assist you through immigration customs department transfer to your Hotel of choice.
Day 2: Full Day Amman
Start the day with a tour of Amman, taking in the old city of and the new parts of the city, visiting the citadel, the Roman Theater, and the Gold Souq. After noon free at leisure, followed by a typical Jordanian dinner evening, and a tour of the handicraft center at the walled village of Kan Zaman.
Day 3: Full Day Pella, Umm Qeis, Dead Sea
Pella, a Greeco – Roman City, named for the birth place of Alexander the great. Then drive to the Decapolis city of Umm Qeis – Gadara of bible 1, 700 above sea level, the view from there reveals to the North Lake Tiberias, the Yarmouk River and the Golan Heights. In the afternoon drive South of main road to Jerusalem till you reach the lowest spot on earth surface “Dead Sea” 1,306 feet below sea level. Drive back to Amman for overnight.
Day 4: Full Day Jerash, Ajlun
You will be driven North to visit Jerash which was known as the city of a 1,000 pillars, where you will see the Triple arched gate, the huge hippodrome, the only roman Forum surrounded by 65 ionic columns. 20 minutes West of Jerash lays Ajlun where the imposing Arab Castle of Qalat Al Rabad, built in defense against the crusaders. Drive back to you Hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Full Day Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Kerak, Petra
Southward along the King's Highway one of the oldest trade routes in the world which runs 200 miles along Jordan’s hilly backbone. You will stop at the Byzantine church of Mt. Nebo, and then proceed to Madaba where you will see a unique map of Palestine. You will visit the great crusader castle of Kerak and continue to Petra for overnight.
Day 6: Full Day Petra Visit
You will start your day to explore the lost city Petra “The Red Rose City”. Upon arrival you will take a horse back ride throughout the Siq, the only access to this city carved out of the rose colored rock. Return to Amman hotel in private Car for over night.
Day 7: Transfer To Amman Airport. Drive to Amman Airport for departure.
