The Luna Convento Cooking School with Chef Enrico Franzese is a week long culinary experience at the historic 9th century convent on the Neapolitan Riviera. The week includes accommodations with balconys and rooms overlooking the azure blue waters, cooking classes in the mornings taught by Chef Enrico Franzese and under the direction of school director, Rosemary Anastasio, excursions in the afternoons and dinners in the hotel and at local restaurants. The excursions include trips to Pompeii, Ravello, Sorrento and dinner at Michelin 3 star Don Alfonso in St. Agata.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at the Luna Convento Hotel on Sunday afternoon. Get settled in rooms and meet for cocktails, orientation and a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Breakfast, cooking class, lunch, a guided walking tour of Amalfi with Rosemary including a visit to an ancient hand made paper factory, food shops, limoncello factory and the Cathedral. Dinner at the Luna Convento.

Day 3 - Breakfast. Guided tour of Pompeii, lunch at Hotel Vittoria in Pompeii, an afternoon tour in Ravello including visits to the Cimbrone gardens and Villa Rufulo. Dinner at the Luna Convento

Day 4 - Breakfast, cooking class and lunch. Afternoon free to shop, take a boat to Positano, relax on the beach or hotel swimming pool. Dinner in a local restaurant on your own or at the Luna Convento.

Day 5 - Breakfast, cooking class and lunch. Excursion to Sorrento for shopping and sightseeing. Dinner at Michelin 3 Star Don Alfonso in St. Agata hosted by Livia and Alfonso Iaccarino with a tour of their renown wine cellar and tasting of their award winning olive oil.

Day 6 - Breakfast, cooking class, lunch and a demonstration in the hotel kitchen by the pastry chef. Enrico will conduct a tour of the church of the Luna Convento. Afternoon free to do last minute shopping. A gala Farewell graduation dinner will be held in the hotel.

Day 7 - Breakfast and departure.
