Our most popular adventure that is designed for the first time rafter or the seasoned veteran. This trip is ideal for families and groups of all ages. Children aged 5-11 are welcome depending on water levels. The river is classed grade II & III plus. (Which is mid-range on a scale of I to VI).
We have been taking guests down this river for 12 years and our safety record is umblemished. This is a grade 3plus river, guests are required to paddle, a full safety and instructional briefing is provided prior to departure. You will get wet, however we supply all the equipment to keep you warm and relatively dry. This includes wet suits, booties and gloves, lifejacket and rain jacket. This is a very popular trip for all ages and wildlife sightings are a daily occurrence. Guests must sign a liability waiver form before the trip departure. Your Itinerary
Day 1: 9:30am or 2pm pick-up
The trip begins in Fairmont Hot Springs at our RETAIL STORE where you will be picked up by luxury, air conditioned coach and taken on a scenic drive to the river in the Purcell Mountains. This area abounds with wildlife and sightings of bear, moose, deer and other fauna are a daily occurrence. On the way your guide will give you an informative talk on the local history of the area. Our guides are the most experienced in the Columbia Valley on this stretch of water.
After an informative safety briefing grab a paddle and join the crew for a memorable ride down a true mountain river.

Columbia Rafting Adventures is the only company to offer an extra 2 km's of white water below Panorama Mountain Village. This section contains the most exciting white water on the river. We finish the trip at our private river take-out complete with covered change facilities.
