Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Milan Airport. Transfer to 5 star hotel on Lake Maggiore. Welcome dinner. (D).
Day 2 - Play golf at Castelconturbia golf Club. Return to hotel and have a massage at the spa or exercise class. (B).
Day 3 - Visit the outlets of Sergio Tacchini and Alessi in the morning followed by 18 holes of golf in the afternoon. Morning golf round available at extra cost. Shopping for full day available with a trip to Lake Orta and Lunch and visit to Borromeo Palace on Isola Bella. (B,L).
Day 4 - Spend today in the nearby region of Piedmont noted for its fine red wines. Visit two win shops for a winetasting and lunch. Those who prefer to play golf can do so near Stresa. (B,L).
Day 5 - This morning play golf at Dei Laghi Club. Return to Stresa and in the afternoon attend a cooking demonstration at the hotel school and end with a delicious dinner. (B,D).
Day 6 - Depart the Lakes today to Montecatini Italy's most famousthermal spa. Enroute play golf at Le Pavoniere. (B).
Day 7 - Play golf today at Versilia near Pietrasanta on the Tuscan coast. Pietrasanta town is an artists colony because it is near the Carrara marble quarries. If you prefer to sightsee, visit the charming walled Renaissance city of Lucca with lunch at a historic villa. (B,L).
Day 8 - Play at Montecatini Golf Club in the Tuscan hills. This afternoon try to Montecatini waters and walk around town eyeing the shop windows. (B).
Day 9 - Play golf today in the Chianti wine region south of Florence at Ugolino. Non-golfers can visit vineyards and have a cooking lesson, or go into Florence for a walking tour. Late day depart for Rome. (B,L).
Day 10 - Visit Rome today by private guide including the Forum, the Colosseums, Circus Maximu and the Palatine Hill. After lunch visit St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museum containing the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms. Gala Farewell dinner ends your trip. Depart the next morning after breakfast for Rome airport. Rates below are for golfers. (B,D).
