Your Itinerary
Day 1:
CAIRO In the evening, You will board your overnight train for the journey up the Nile. (Your
tour includes a first-class train ticket.
If you would like a sleeping compartment
(round-trip Cairo-Aswan and Luxor-Cairo),
please add US$195 per person double, or
US$335 single.)
Day 2:
ASWAN Your Nile Express train pulls into Aswan
station, where our staff meets you and
escorts you to your hotel. After settling
in, we visit the mighty Aswan High Dam and the temples of Philae, rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser in a mammoth United Nations salvage effort.

Day 3:
ASWAN ,Aswan is yours to explore as you like
today, or join us on an optional excursion
by air up the Nile to Abu Simbel to visit the
breathtaking temples of Pharaoh Rameses the
Great and Queen Nefertari. In the afternoon,
you board your felucca and settle in for a
timeless cruise on the Nile. While on board,
all meals are provided.

Day 4:
KOM OMBO :Our felucca cruises to Kom Ombo and the twin temples of Haroeris, the sun god, and Sobek,
the Nile crocodile god. We tie up at the wharf
and explore the temples, resuming our cruise past
timeless villages, sand dunes and palm groves
in the afternoon.

Day 5:
EDFU :We dock at Edfu and board horse-drawn carriages for the short ride through the town to the stupendous Temple of Horus, the best-preserved
Pharaonic temple on the Nile. We return to our
boat for the evening.

Day 6:
LUXOR While your felucca is waiting to pass through the Nile locks, you board your car which will be awaiting for you for the drive to Luxor, and settle in at your 3 star hotel. For the rest of the day, Luxor is yours to explore as you like,
guidebook in hand. Stroll along the Nile, or dive
into the colorful bazaar to shop for souvenirs

Day 7:
LUXOR You're up early today to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, returning to our felucca for lunch(Not included).

Day 8:
LUXOR :Today we visit what is perhaps the world's most gigantic and spectacular religious building, the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, followed by the huge Temple of Luxor. Take your time to explore the temples in detail, or wander in Luxor's quaint streets for the remainder of the day.

Day 9:
LUXOR Today is yours to do as you like: collect your thoughts, write postcards, try on gallabiyas
(long Egyptian robes) in the market, revisit any of the great monuments, enjoy the shade of
the palm trees, and generally enjoy Luxor. Do
get some rest, however. In the evening you board
your overnight train back down the Nile to Cairo.

CAIRO: Arrival Cairo station and end of services
