We visit Thailand's greatest beaches and beach resorts, and visit it's most spectacular karst scenery. Great food every single meal. We also do a half-day trip into Burma at Victoria Point.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - We start our tour in Phuket, a destination resort second to none. And from there we drive to Krabi, which has only the second-most beautiful beach in the world. (B) (L) (D)
Day 2 - We continue our stay in Krabi, which is as famous for rock climbing as it is for its sureal beauty and laid-back life-style. Lots of sports activities, like scuba, rock climbing, and sea canoes. (B) (L) (D)
Day 3 - Koh Lanta is a little known island laying in the beautiful Andaman Sea. As commercially developed as Phuket is, Koh Lanta is the direct opposite. Hardly any commercial development has taken root here. The first sealed road was built on the island only last year. This will be a beach experience unlike any thing you have ever experienced. (B) (L) (D)
Day 4 - Koh Bulon is even smaller and much further out in the sea then Lanta. A rustic nipa bungalow is your home for the night on an island you share with the Sea Gypsies. (B) (L) (D)
Day 5 - Songklha is a beach resort catering to the locals on the South China Sea. It is famous for their Thai cooking, and boasts the best restaurant in southern Thailand. They also have a good museum and a few well preserved antiquities and temples. (B) (L) (D)
Day 6 - Koh Samui is Thailand's second-most popular beach resort after Phuket. This beautiful island is well known for its wild nightlife. Their full moon parties are legendary. (B) (L) (D)
Day 7 - We spend a second day and night on Koh Samui. Good scuba diving is available. A half-day circuit of the island by motorcycle is a very pleasurable way to discover Samui's charms. (B) (L) (D)
Day 8 - Khao Sok National Park is the largest undisturbed wild-life area left in Thailand. Wild elephants and tigers still have viable populations here. We spend one night in the park in architectural-designed tree houses high in the canopy of primary rainforest. (B) (L) (D)
Day 9 - Our second night is spent on a floating bungalow on what could be the most beautiful lake in the world. Totally untouched. Totally private. Totally silent, except for the sounds of the tropical rainforests. (B) (L) (D)
Day 10 - We drive across the Isthmus of Kra, the narrowest point in the Thai-Malay peninsular. Our hotel is built on a natural hot spring with a great spa for use of the guests.
Most of Thailand's seafood comes through Ranong and we will eat the freshest fish and shellfish imaginable, cooked in that inimitable Thai style. On this full day, we will also take a walking tour through Victoria Point in Burma. (B) (L) (D)
Day 11 - The trip ends today back in Phuket, after a glorious tour filled with sun, fun, and of course, great motorcycle riding. (B) (L) (D)
